The Georgetown Public Library is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. The library’s collection is more than 80,000 items including books, cassettes, DVDs, music CDs and books on CD. The library has computer workstations available with Internet access.

The Georgetown municipal Court is open Monday through Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday 8 a.m. to noon. The Municipal Court handles the judicial processing of class “c” misdemeanors that originate from traffic citations, citizen complaints, code violations, and misdemeanor arrests, occurring within the territorial limits of the City of Georgetown. The Municipal Court processing is pre-determined by the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and the Code of Judicial Conduct.
