In addition to numerous parks and swimming opportunities on the San Gabriel River, Lake Georgetown offers a variety of outdoor and water recreational activities. The lake offers boating and fishing, as well as camping, picnic and group meeting areas.

Office hours are Mon. through Fri. 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Georgetown Recreation Center is located at 1003 N. Austin Ave., and open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Memberships are available to residents and non-residents. The facility includes two gymnasiums, cardio and weight machines, racquetball courts, indoor pool, lockers, showers and meeting and classroom space.

Georgetown has 30 park facilities, highlighted by Blue Hole and San Gabriel Parks. Amenities found in the park system include a skate park, swimming, fishing, disc golf, tennis, softball, community center, trails, picnic areas and playground equipment.
