Round Rock has 34 parks covering more than 1,700 acres of land. The primary city park is Old Settlers Park that includes baseball and softball facilities, soccer fields, playgrounds, walking trails, fishing, tennis and volleyball, picnic areas and the Rock N’ River water park. The newest addition is an all abilities park located at 151 North AW Grimes Blvd.

In addition to the park space, the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, at 1600 Gattis School Rd., offers racquetball, gymnasiums, meeting rooms, weight and cardio equipment, an indoor pool and a variety of classes. The Allen R. Baca Center, 301 Bagdad Ave., offers adult activities with social, recreational and educational programs for adults age 50 and over.
